About Me

I'm a freelance translator specialising in patent translations, manuals and a range of other subjects. 

I'm accredited by the Regional Court of Koblenz for the language combination Japanese-German. 

Education

I have a university diploma in translation (University of Bonn, Germany).

Experience

I have ample experience in the field of patent translations, both in-house and as a freelance translator.

From 2000 to 2003, I worked at an international law office located in Tokyo, where I had the opportunity to acquaint myself with the basics of IP translation, from both English and Japanese into German, as well as with a variety of other fields such as general business communication, employment contracts and other agreements, etc. Since returning to Germany in early 2004, I've continued to translate patents on a regular basis for a  number of satisfied customers. Additionally, I  began exploring other fields of translation, such as manuals, questionnaires and marketing documentation, all of which I am  handling regularly as well.
